KIIT among country’s top 100 educational institutes

New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar, Apr 03: The Bhubaneswar-based Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University founded by noted educationist and social entrepreneur Dr. Achyuta Samanta has made it to the top 100 higher educational institutions of the country.

According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released by the Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry today, KIIT has secured 79th rank.

The other institutes from the state which found place in the list are Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (Bhubaneswar), National Institute of Technology (Rourkela) and Indian Institute of Technology (Bhubaneswar). They were placed at 33rd, 46th and 66th ranks respectively.

The Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru in Karnataka topped the list while the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras was placed on the 2nd rank.
