Govt to act against colleges that drew a blank in Plus II Science exam

Schoold and Mass Education minister Badri Narayan Patra has warned that the Odisha government will take stringent action against all the three collages, which reported zero pass rate in the Plus Two Science exam. The results of the examination was declared on Friday.

“Stringent action will be taken against the colleges which have reported zero pass rate,” said Patra while declaring the result at the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) office in Bhubaneswar today.

Binayaka Junior College in Jeypore, Krushna PD Women’s College in Daspalla and Tapoban (Junior) College of Sc. & Tech are the three institutes where no one cleared the examination.

The Minister announced the result today with a pass percentage of 81.11%. A total of 73, 523 out of the 90, 643 students who appeared in the examination have cleared the exam this year.
