Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi has directed the concerned authorities to strictly follow safety norms in course of the execution of the sanitation project in twin cities Cuttack and Bhubaneswar,
‘Going into manholes for works should be strictly protocoled from safety angles’, Padhi told officials while reviewing the project in the state secretariat here on Friday.
The Secretary asked concerned engineers to update safety SOP for remaining portion of the project keeping in view the nature of works. He also directed the executing agency to look into of the convenience of the people while digging the roads and drains and not to leave any portion half done.
