CM Naveen Patnaik meets Khurdha PRI representatives

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday met the newly elected Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) representatives of Khurdha district.

According to reports, Patnaik first heard their problems and suggestions from the grass root level leaders during the meeting.

Later, the Chief Minister asked the PRI members to reach out to masses and work towards fulfilling the promises they had made to people during the rural polls.

Besides, he told the elected representatives to ensure that benefits of all public welfare schemes implemented by the BJD government reach common people.

Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, Panchyati Raj and Law Minister Arun Sahoo, MLAs of Khurdha district along with BJD vice-president Surya Narayan Patro attended the meeting.
