IPL 10: Kings XI Punjab beat KKR by 14 Runs

The Kings XI Punjab scored a much needed victory against the Kolkata Knight Riders despite the heroic by KKR opener Chris Lynn. KXIP still have some chances to qualify for the playoffs if they win both of their remaining matches.

Batting first, KXIP posted 167/6 in 20 overs. Glenn Maxwell (44) and Wriddhiman Saha (38) were the top contributors. Chris Woakes and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each.

Kolkata Knight Riders managed to score 153/6 in 20 overs and lost the match by 14 runs. Chris Lynn was the top scorer with 84. For KKR, Mohit Sharma and Rahul Tewatia took two wickets each. Mohit Sharma was declared as the ‘Player of the Match’.
