Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: Odisha’s singing sensation Barnali Hota has entered into the final round of ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ show aired on Star Plus channel.
Hota, who had participated at ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs’ held in 2011 on Zee TV, has found her place in the top five finalists of the singing talent show produced by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar.
With Euphony band of Maharashtra, Barnali enthralled the audience and judges by singing ‘muqabla muqabla…’ at the music reality show. They received standing ovation from the judges for their unique way of presentation of the song.
Barnali and her team were placed among top five finalists for their powerful performance.
Ankita-Saswati, Ajay Amritanshu-Nastya, Simraj Raj and Haitham are the other four finalists of the show.
The finale of the singing talent show will be on April 1, 2017.
