Delegates from American Universities visit KISS, KIIT

Bhubaneswar, Mar 29: Delegates from 11 Universities of the United States of America (USA) visited the city-based Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) here on Wednesday.

Delegates from the Suffolk County Community College, C University, University of Washington Bothell, Cheyney University of Pennsylvanis, Milami University, Murray University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Sailsbury University, Davidson County Community College, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Georgetown University visited KISS to know about it and to understand how the largest residential institute functions.

During their meeting with the students, they lauded the initiatives undertaken by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of KISS and KIIT.

On this occasion, Dr Samanta felicitated each member of the delegates in the presence of P. K. Routray, CEO KISS and other dignataies.

Later, the delegates visited KIIT and met the students and faculty members. Besides, they discussed how the students of the two institutes can get opportunity to study abroad.

Prof P. P. Mathur, VC, KIIT, Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar, KIIT and others were present at the meeting.
