Police detained Ajit Behera, the sports teacher of Purushottam High School, for repeatedly professing his love to the college girl despite her resistance.
As per the allegation made by the girl, Behera, the father of two, followed her for the last several months and proposed to her despite the fact that she rejected his amorous advances every time.
The girl tried her best to convince the teacher about her unwillingness, but the latter would have none of it. Exasperated with the teacher’s intransigence, the girl reported the matter to the police with the help of her friends following which the Polasara police detained Ajit for grilling over the matter.
