Bhioliona Boro crowned as KIIT Nanhi Pari Little Miss India-2017

Bhubaneswar: Bhioliona Boro of Guwahati was crowned KIIT Nanhi Pari Little Miss India-2017 here on Saturday. Odisha born Jita Mohaptra from Chennai became the first runner-up while Anoushka Singh of Patna became the second runner-up of the beauty pageant.

Bhioliona Boro got Rs 3 lakh cash award along with the title while Jita Mohaptra and Anoushka Singh received Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50000 cash prizes respectively.

Apart from the cash award, Boro also got 100% academic fee waiver subject to a maximum of Rs 18 lakhs for studying in any discipline in KIIT University.

The first runner-up also got 50% academic fee waiver subject to maximum of Rs 9 lakh for studying in KIIT University. Likewise, the second runner-up got 50% academic fee waiver subject to maximum of Rs 9 lakh.

As many as 30 teenage girls from different states participated in the grand finale which was held on the premises of KIIT International School yesterday.

Prize money of Rs 10,000 each along with citation and certificate was also given in ten other categories during the beauty pageant for the young girls.

Khyati Singh of Mumbai won the Miss Rapunzel title (Girl with most beautiful hair), Bhiolina Boro of Guwahati won the Miss Photogenic title (Girl with best pose in photo-shoot round), Anuja Chauhan of New Delhi, won the Miss Selfie title (Maximum likes on Facebook page), Aahana Naqeeb of Srinagar won the Miss Fashion title (Girl with best costume in both rounds), Anoushka Singh of Patna won the Miss Whizkid title (Girl with highest marks in quiz round), K.R Santoshini of Bhubaneswar won the Miss Cinderella title (Girl having best personality), Gautam Madan Deshmukh of Hyderabad won the Miss Urvasi title (Girl with best talent), Chayanika Deka of Guwahati won the Miss Catwalk title (Girl with best ramp walk), Jita Mohaptara of Chennai won the Miss Monalisa title (Most beautiful girl with most beautiful smile), Akshita Shah of Jamshedpur won the Miss Active title (Most active girl in sports round).

Bhubaneswar MLA (North) Priyadarshi Mishra, Mahamandaleshwar Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, Mira Parida, Sonika Roy, Rekha Khan, Suchithra Ayar, Barsha Priyadarshini, Sohini Mishra, Kadambini Editor Dr. Iti Samanta, Ashutosh Mishra, Punam, Uday, Bhumika and others attended the even as juries.

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, patron of Nanhi Pari and founder of KIIT & KISS was also among many dignitaries who witnessed the glittering ceremony of the grand finale.
